An official F2 paid from appropriations in the research and investment budget and employed in an establishment of the Joint Research Centre oron indirect actionX1shall be entitled to special allowances when regularly required in accordance with a decision taken by the appointing authority because of the exigencies of the service or safety rules to remain on standby duty at his place of work or at home outside normal working hours.

F3After consulting the Staff Regulations Committee, the Commission shall determine, by means of delegated acts in accordance with Articles 111 and 112, the categories of officials entitled to such allowances, the conditions for granting the allowances and the rates thereof.
