1.

Whenever it appears that, with respect to the allocation and use of slots at its airports, F2a country other than the United Kingdom:

(a)

does not grant F3UK air carriers treatment comparable to that granted by this Regulation to air carriers from that country, or

(b)

does not grant F4UK air carriers de facto national treatment, or

(c)

grants air carriers from other F5... countries more favourable treatment than F6UK air carriers,

F7the Secretary of State may by regulations take measures, including the suspension in whole or in part of the application of this Regulation in respect of an air carrier or air carriers of F8that country with a view to remedying the discriminatory behaviour of the F9country concerned.
