  2. 2Until 31 December 2006, the requirements relating to Article 4(1) of Directive 1999/74/EC referred to in point 1 of this Annex shall not apply to production systems built, rebuilt or put into use for the first time before 1 January 2002 and which have not yet been brought into conformity with that Directive in accordance with Article 4(2) thereof.
