Article 47 Certificates provided for in Article 5 (3) and (4) of Regulation (EC) No 338/97 (certificates required for export or re-export)F10

The certificates provided for in F1Article 5 (3) and (4) of Regulation (EC) No 338/97 shall indicate which of the following statements apply in the case of the specimens covered:

1. (1)

   they were taken from the wild in accordance with the legislation of the F2United Kingdom (as that legislation applies in Great Britain);

2. (2)

   they were abandoned or had escaped and were recovered in accordance with the legislation of the F3United Kingdom (as that legislation applies in Great Britain);

3. (3)

   they were acquired in, or introduced into F4Great Britain after IP completion day, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 338/97;

4. (3A)

   F5they were acquired in, or were introduced into, the United Kingdom before IP completion day, in accordance with Regulation 338/97 (pre-exit);

5. (4)

   they were acquired in, or introduced into the F6United Kingdom, before 1 June 1997 in accordance with Regulation (EEC) No 3626/82;

6. (5)

   they were acquired in, or introduced into, the F7United Kingdom before 1 January 1984 in accordance with the Convention;

7. (6)

   they were acquired in, or introduced into, the territory of a Member State before the Regulations referred to in points F8(3A) or (4) or the Convention became applicable to them, or became applicable in that Member State F9, and were acquired in, or were introduced into, the United Kingdom before IP completion day.
