Article 3 General conditions for the introduction of ungulates into Great BritainX1F10

Consignments of ungulates shall only be introduced F1from third countries into F2Great Britain if they comply with the following conditions:

1. (a)

   they come from F3such of the third countries listed in F4column 1 of the table set out in Part 1 of Annex I F5or a territory or part of any such third country, as the Secretary of State, with the consent of the Scottish Ministers (in relation to Scotland) and the Welsh Ministers (in relation to Wales), may specify in a document published for the purposes of this Article for which there is a model veterinary certificate corresponding to the consignment concerned listed in column 4 of the table in Part 1 of Annex I;

2. (b)

   they are accompanied by the appropriate veterinary certificate, drawn up in accordance with the relevant model veterinary certificate F6, in the form published by the appropriate authority from time to time, taking into account F7any specific conditions that the Secretary of State, with the consent of the Scottish Ministers (in relation to Scotland) and the Welsh Ministers (in relation to Wales), may require under Article 2c, and completed and signed by an official veterinarian of the exporting third country;

3. (c)

   they comply with the requirements set out in the veterinary certificate referred to in point (b), including:

   1. (i)

      F8any supplementary guarantees laid down in that certificate that the Secretary of State, with the consent of the Scottish Ministers (in relation to Scotland) and the Welsh Ministers (in relation to Wales), may require under Article 2d;

   2. (ii)

      any additional veterinary certification requirements that the F9appropriate authority may include in the certificate.
