Article 10

Regulation (EC) No 617/2008 is amended as follows:

1. 1..

   In Article 2, paragraph 3 is deleted.

2. 2..

   Article 9 is replaced by the following:

   ‘Inspection agencies

   Article 9

   Agencies appointed by each Member State shall check that the provisions of this Regulation are observed.’

3. 3..

   A new Article 11a is inserted:

   ‘Implementation of the notification obligation

   Article 11a

   The notifications to the Commission referred to in Article 3(3) and Article 8(7) of this Regulation shall be made in accordance with Commission Regulation (EC) No 792/2009^f1.’

4. 4..

   Annex III is amended as follows:

   1. (a)

      The title is replaced by the following:

      ‘ MONTHLY SUMMARY OF PRODUCTION AND MARKETING OF EGGS FOR HATCHING AND FARMYARD POULTRY CHICKS* ’

   2. (b)

      The text at the end is replaced by the following:

      ‘*
