Article 3 Entry into force and application

This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.

It shall apply from 21 July 2015.

However:

1. (a)

   points 2 and 3 of the Annex shall apply from 1 January 2016; to the extent reference is made to Appendix XII to Annex I to Regulation (EU) No 748/2012, point (b) applies;

2. (b)

   point 6 of the Annex as regards point D of Appendix XII shall apply from 1 January 2018, without prejudice to requirements already resulting from the Annex I (Part-FCL) to Commission Regulation (EU) No 1178/2011^f1.
