In this Regulation:
‘country’, in relation to the United Kingdom, means the United Kingdom as a whole and does not mean any of the individual constituent nations forming part of the United Kingdom;
‘F2assimilated law’ has the meaning given in section 6(7) of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 but does not include any legislation so far as it extends to Northern Ireland.
