Article 1 Subject matter , definitions and scopeF6

This Regulation lays down rules for monitoring the transport and arrival F2from a third country of consignments of goods referred to in Article 47(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) 2017/625 which are intended for placing on the market in F3Great Britain, where the transport of those goods from the border control post of arrival to the establishment at the place of destination in Great Britain is required to be monitored in accordance with F4legislation in force in the relevant constituent territory of Great Britain (the consignment).

F5For the purposes of this Regulation—

• ‘third country’ has the meaning given in Article 3(2D) of Regulation (EU) 2017/625;

• ‘the appropriate computerised information management system’ is the system for official controls referred to in Article 131 of Regulation (EU) 2017/625.
