Article 8 Survivability exemption for turbot

The survivability exemption referred to in Article 15(4)(b) of Regulation (EU) No 1380/2013 shall apply in the F1United Kingdom waters of ICES subarea 4 F2, excluding waters within the English zone, to catches of turbot (Scophthalmus maximus) with beam trawls with a cod-end larger than 80 mm (TBB).

When discarding turbot caught in the cases referred to in paragraph 1, the turbot shall be released immediately.
