Rule 4 Amendments to the Family Procedure Rules 2010

after the definition of “the 2008 Act”, insert—

• ““the 2014 Act” means the Children and Families Act 2014^f1”

omit the definition of “alternative dispute resolution”;

after the definition of “matrimonial order” insert ““non-court dispute resolution” means methods of resolving a dispute, including mediation, other than through the normal court process;”;

after the definition of “child”, insert—

• ““child arrangements order” has the meaning given to it by section 8(1) of the 1989 Act;”; and

omit the definition of “contact order”.
