The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 9(2), 27(2), 28(2) and 53 of the Firearms Act 1968f1, makes the following Rules:

1968 c.27. Section 27(2) was amended by section 23(5) of the Firearms (Amendment) Act 1988 (c.45). There are other amendments to the 1968 Act which are not relevant to these Regulations.
