Regulation 4 Acquisition and possession of firearms by minors

The Firearms Rules 1998^f1 are amended as follows.

In Part I of Schedule 1 (form of application for a firearm certificate), in Part F of the form (declaration), for “if the applicant is under 17 years of age” substitute “if the applicant is under 18 years of age”.

In Part I of Schedule 2 (form of application for a shot gun certificate), in Part E of the form (declaration), for “if the applicant is under 17 years of age” substitute “if the applicant is under 18 years of age”.
