In rule G1 (pensionable pay and average pensionable pay), for paragraph (1), substitute—

“(1)

Subject to paragraph (2), the pensionable pay of a regular firefighter is the amount determined in relation to the performance of the duties of his role (whether as a whole-time or part-time employee).”.
