In article 16B (supplementary provisions about deferred pensions) in paragraph (1) —
(a)
for the words “five years”, wherever occurring, substitute “2 years”; and
(b)
at the end of the proviso insert “nor to the extent, if any, that it comprises a period during which an election under article 56A(1) not to pay pension contributions had effect”.
