Paragraph 4

(1)

Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1393/2014 establishing a discard plan for certain pelagic fisheries in north-western waters is amended as follows.

(2)

In Article 1 (subject matter)—

(a)

the existing text becomes paragraph 1;

(b)

in that paragraph, for the words from “in the north-western” to “that Regulation” substitute “ and applies to waters within ICES subarea 5B that are within United Kingdom waters and to waters within ICES subareas 6 and 7 that are not within Union waters ”;

(c)

after that paragraph insert—

In paragraph 1, “United Kingdom waters” and “Union waters” have the meaning they have in Regulation (EU) No 1380/2013.”

In Article 2 (survivability exemption), in paragraph 6 for “and 2020” substitute “ , 2020 and 2021 ”.

In Article 3a (de minimis exemptions in the years 2018, 2019 and 2020)—

(a)

(b)
