The Sea Fisheries Act 1968 is amended as follows.

In section 8 (general powers of British sea-fishery officers)—

(a)

in subsection (1), for “section 2 of the Fishery Limits Act 1976 or any order thereunder” substitute “ of section 12 of the Fisheries Act 2020 ”;

(b)

in subsection (4), for “section 2 of the Fishery Limits Act 1976 or any order thereunder” substitute “ section 12 of the Fisheries Act 2020 ”.

(3)

In section 12 (recovery of fines imposed on master etc or crew), in subsections (1) and (2), for “section 2 of the Fishery Limits Act 1976” substitute “ section 12 of the Fisheries Act 2020 ”.

(4)

In section 13 (compensation for damage caused by offence), in subsections (2) and (4), for “section 2 of the Fishery Limits Act 1976” substitute “ section 12 of the Fisheries Act 2020 ”.

(5)

In section 14 (jurisdiction to try offences), omit “or section 2 of the Fishery Limits Act 1976”.
