Article 16 Consequential modifications to the Milk-based Drinks (Scotland) Regulations 1983

The Milk-based Drinks (Scotland) Regulations 1983^f1 shall be amended as follows:–

(a)

In regulation 2(1) the definition of “the 1914 Act” shall be deleted;

(b)

In paragraph 3 of Schedule 1 the words after “be left” to the end shall be deleted and there shall be substituted the words:—

“on a road except upon final delivery to the ultimate consumer.”; and

(c)

for paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 there shall be substituted:–

Heat treatment shall be carried out only at premises licensed under regulation 3 of the Milk and Dairies (Scotland) Regulations 1990^f2.”.
