In exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 3(2) of the Football (Disorder) (Amendment) Act 2002f1, the Secretary of State hereby makes the following Order:

This Order may be cited as the Football (Disorder) (Amendment) Act 2002 (Commencement) Order 2002.

Section 1 of the Football (Disorder) (Amendment) Act 2002 shall come into force on 28th August 2002.

Explanatory note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order brings section 1 of the Football (Disorder) (Amendment) Act 2002 into force on 28th August 2002. The remainder of the Act came into force on Royal Assent.
