Regulation 10 Embedded generators

For the purposes of these Regulations, when calculating any quantity of electricity purchased by a licensed supplier from an embedded generator due allowance shall be made for the fact that in such circumstances the loss or consumption of electricity during its distribution may not be the same as it is for electricity generated by generators who are not embedded generators.

(2)

In this regulation “embedded generator” means the operator of a generating station which is connected directly to a system of electric lines and electrical plant operated by a licensed supplier.
