Article 3 Scope of exemption

Subject to paragraph (2) below, the company is hereby granted exemption from section 5(1)(a) of the Gas Act 1986 in respect of the conveyance of gas through the Interconnector to a pipe-line system operated by a public gas transporter.

The exemption provided for in paragraph (1) above (“the exemption”) is subject to the conditions set out in articles 4 and 5 below.
