England, Wales and Scotland
The M1Acquisition of Land (Authorisation Procedure) (Scotland) Act 1947 shall apply to the compulsory purchase by a F1public gas transporter of land or rights in Scotland as if F2the transporter were a local authority within the meaning of that Act, and as if this Act had been in force immediately before the commencement of that Act.
