The minimum braking force capable of being developed by the brakes of a trailer manufactured on or after 1st January 1968 but before 1st October 1982 should in the case of—
(a)
a trailer, not being a semi-trailer, be 0.5 W;
(b)
a semi-trailer, be 0.4 W.
