Article 2 Authorisation of the joint scheme
The Secretary of State authorises the Great Place (England) joint scheme contained in the agreement between the Arts Council of England and the Trustees of the National Heritage Memorial Fund dated 12th January 2017f1.
The Schedule to this Order (which contains the particulars specified in paragraph 3 of Schedule 3A to the National Lottery etc. Act 1993) has effect.

Section 25B of, and Schedule 3A to, the National Lottery etc. Act 1993 permits a body which distributes money under section 25(1) of that Act to participate with one or more other such bodies in a joint scheme for the distribution of money under that provision. The Arts Council of England and the Trustees of the National Heritage Memorial Fund are specified as distributing bodies in section 23 of that Act. Distributing bodies wishing to participate in a joint scheme must apply to the Secretary of State for authorisation or approval. Section 25B was inserted by section 12(1) of the National Lottery Act 1998.
