Section 124 Provision as to Penalties.

The several Punishments F1... enacted in this Act shall not be cumulative in respect of one and the same Offence, but shall be applicable to any such Offence by way of Alternative only; F2and proceedings for any offence under this Act which is punishable on summary conviction may be taken at any time not later than six months after the time when either of the Two Companies had, or with reasonable diligence might have had, notice that the offence had been committed.
