Section 22 Short title, construction and extent.

This Act may be cited as the Historic Buildings and Ancient Monuments Act, 1953.

References in this Act to any other enactment shall be construed as references to that enactment as amended by or under any subsequent enactment including this Act.

(4)

For the purposes of this Act the administrative county of Monmouth shall be taken to be part of Wales and not part of England.

(5)

This Act shall not extend to Northern Ireland.
