Article 1 Citation, commencement and interpretationI1

This Order may be cited as the Historic Environment (Amendment) (Scotland) Act 2011 (Saving, Transitional and Consequential Provisions) Order 2011 and comes into force on 1st December 2011.

In this Order—

• “the 1979 Act” means the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Areas Act 1979^f1;

• “the Act” means the Historic Environment (Amendment) (Scotland) Act 2011;

• “the Listed Buildings Act” means the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) (Scotland) Act 1997^f2; and

• “scheduled monument consent” has the same meaning as in section 61(1) of the 1979 Act.
