Paragraph 43

In section 79 of the 1977 Act—

(a)

in subsection (1) for the words “ local authority” there are substituted the words “ president of every rent assessment panel” ;

(b)

in subsection (2) for the words “ local authority” there are substituted the words “ rent assessment panel” ;

(c)

subsection (4) is hereby repealed ; and

(d)

in subsection (5) for the words “ local authority” there are substituted the words “ president of the rent assessment panel concerned”.
