Paragraph 61
The Protection from Eviction Act 1977 shall apply, where a person has been let into possession of a dwelling-house under the terms of a rental purchase agreement (within the meaning of section 88 of this Act) as if—
the dwelling-house had been let to him as a dwelling under a tenancy which is not a statutorily protected tenancy (within the meaning of section 3 of that Act); and
that tenancy had come to an end on the termination of the agreement or of his right to possession under it.
