Paragraph 12

England, Wales and Scotland

In the said section 22, as it applies to Scotland, in subsection (1),—

(a)

for the words “Part III of the Rent Act 1965 or under the Rent (Scotland) Act 1971” there shall be substituted the words “ “the Rent (Scotland) Act 1984 or under Part II of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1988 ”;

(b)

for the words “rent tribunal” there shall be substituted the words “ “rent assessment committee ” and for the words “or tribunal” there shall be substituted the words “ “or committee ”;

(c)

for the words “Part VII of that Act” there shall be substituted the words “ “Part VII of the said Act of 1984 or under Part II of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1988 ”; and

(d)

in paragraph (a) after the word “tenancy” there shall be inserted the words “ “or licence ”.
