Article 5.14 Estimate of value of debtI1

The housing administrator must estimate the value of a debt that does not have a certain value because it is subject to a contingency or for any other reason.

The housing administrator may revise such an estimate by reference to a change of circumstances or to information becoming available to the housing administrator.

The housing administrator must inform the creditor of the housing administrator’s estimate and any revision.

Where the value of a debt is estimated under this rule, or by the court under section 168(3) or (5), the amount provable in the case of that debt is that of the estimate for the time being.
