Paragraph 12 F1

In section 518 of the M1Housing Act 1985 (meaning of “dwelling for a disabled occupant” and related expressions), for subsection (3) substitute—

“(3)

In this Part “improvement”—

(a)

in relation to a dwelling for a disabled occupant, includes the doing of works required for making the dwelling suitable for his accommodation, welfare or employment, and

(b)

in relation to the common parts of a building which includes such a dwelling, includes the doing of works required for making the common parts suitable for use by a disabled occupant of a dwelling.”.
