The Housing (Financial Provisions) (Scotland) Act 1978 is amended as follows.

In section 5 (financial assistance to voluntary organisations), in subsection (2) for the words from “in the register” to “1974” substitute “under the Housing Associations Act 1985”.

In section 7 (restriction on certain exchequer payments)—
(a)
in subsection (7) housing association grant) for “section 29 of the Housing Act 1974” substitute “Part II of the Housing Associations Act 1985”;
(b)
in subsection (8) (hostel deficit grants) for “section 33 of the Housing Act 1974” substitute “section 55 of the Housing Associations Act 1985”.
