Article 1 Citation and interpretation

This Order may be cited as the Identity Cards Act 2006 (Commencement No. 7) Order 2010.

In this Order –

“Identity and Passport Service” means the Secretary of State acting through the Identity and Passport Service; and
“passport” means a United Kingdom passport (within the meaning of the Immigration Act 1971^f1).
