To maintain for public information and instruction in the exhibition galleries of F1the Commonwealth Institute exhibitions illustrative of the resources and development of the Commonwealth of Nations and of its scenery life and progress and where practicable to organise from time to time temporary exhibitions of a similar nature elsewhere.
