Regulation 2 Amendment of Schedule 2 to the General Regulations

In Schedule 2 to the General Regulations (applicable amounts), in paragraph 1, for sub-paragraphs (1) and (2) there shall be substituted the following sub-paragraphs–

“

(1)

Single claimant aged–

(a)

except where head (b) or (c) of this sub-paragraph applies, less than 18;(1)(a) £21.90;

(b)

less than 18 who falls within any of the circumstances specified in Part II of Schedule 1A or who, had he been a registered person, would fall within any of those circumstances and who–

(b) £28.80;
(i)

is eligible for income support under regulation 13A; or

(ii)

is the subject of a direction under section 20(4A) of the Act;

(c)

less than 18 who satisfies the condition in paragraph 11(a);

(c) £28.80;
(d)

not less than 18 but less than 25;

(d) £28.80;
(e)

not less than 25.

(e) £36.70.
(2)

Lone parent aged–

(a)

except where head (b) or (c) of this sub-paragraph applies, less than 18;

(1)(a) £21.90;
(b)

less than 18 who falls within any of the circumstances specified in Part II of Schedule 1A or who, had he been a registered person, would fall within any of those circumstances and who–

(b) £28.80;
(i)

is eligible for income support under regulation 13A; or

(ii)

is the subject of a direction under section 20(4A) of the Act;

(c)

less than 18 who satisfies the condition in paragraph 11(a);

(c) £28.80;
(d)

not less than 18.

(d) £36.70.

”.

(i) is eligible for income support under regulation 13A; or (ii) is the subject of a direction under section 20(4A) of the Act;
(c) less than 18 who satisfies the condition in paragraph 11(a);	(c) £28.80;
(d) not less than 18.	(d) £36.70.
