Explanatory note

(This note does not form part of the Order)

This Order further amends the Insolvency Fees Order 1986 (S.I. 1986/2030).

It prescribes the fee payable in respect of the purchase of Government securities pursuant to a request made by a trustee of a bankrupt’s estate under regulation 23A of the Insolvency Regulations 1994 (S.I. 1994/2507). Regulation 23A was inserted into the Insolvency Regulations 1994 by the Insolvency (Amendment) Regulations 2001 (S.I. 2001/762).
