Regulation 43D Procurement of services relating to specified shipsF1

A person must not directly or indirectly procure services relating to a specified ship.

For the purposes of this regulation, services relating to a specified ship include, in particular, services involving the use of that specified ship.

Paragraph (1) is subject to Part 8 (Exceptions and licences).

A person who contravenes the prohibition in paragraph (1) commits an offence, but it is a defence for a person charged with the offence of contravening paragraph (1) (“P”) to show that P did not know and had no reasonable cause to suspect that the ship in relation to which the services were procured was a specified ship.
