Paragraph 9

Schedule 1 to this Act shall not apply to a county court registrar appointed before 16th July 1956 who gave notice under proviso (a) of section 21(1) of the M1County Courts Act 1934 (election for pension provisions for persons in court service).

In determining the relevant service of a county court registrar or assistant registrar for the purpose of section 16 of, and Schedule 1 to, this Act no account shall be taken of service as an assistant registrar before 16th July 1956.
