Section 55 Sexual offences: closure orders

Part 2A of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 (c. 42) (closure orders) is amended as follows.

In section 136J(5) (discharge of closure order) for “judicial authority” substitute “ judicial officer ”.

In section 136R (interpretation) at the end insert—

“(15)

In the application of this Part to Northern Ireland for any reference to a magistrates' court there shall be substituted a reference to a court of summary jurisdiction.”.
