Section 16 Interest on compensation.C1

Compensation under this Part of this Act shall carry interest, at the rate for the time being prescribed under section 40 of the M1Land Compensation (Scotland) Act 1963, from—

(a)

the date of service of the notice of claim; or

(b)

if that date is before F1the first claim day, from F2the first claim day

until payment.
