Article 1 Title, commencement and interpretation

This Order, which supersedes the Land Registration (District Registries) Order 2000^f1, may be cited as the Land Registration (District Registries) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 2nd January 2002.

In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires:

• “district land registry” means a district registry of the Land Registry within the meaning of section 132 of the Land Registration Act 1925;

• “the Schedule” means the Schedule to this Order.
