LAND REGISTRATION, SCOTLAND
Made 1st February 1995
Laid before Parliament 15th February 1995
Coming into force 1st April 1995
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 27(1) of the Land Registration (Scotland) Act 1979f1and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, after consultation with the Lord President of the Court of Session, hereby makes the following Rules:
For Schedule A to the Land Registration (Scotland) Rules 1980f1(forms to be used in connection with registration) there shall be substituted the Schedule A set out in the Schedule to these Rules.
These Rules substitute for Schedule A to the Land Registration (Scotland) Rules 1980 a new Schedule setting out amended forms to be used in connection with registration.
The layout of forms 1 to 5 and 8 to 15 has been altered to allow them to be read by computer in anticipation of the introduction of new technology at the Registers of Scotland Executive Agency. Changes have also been made to forms 1 to 15 to take account of legislative changes, including changes in fees, since the forms were last revised, to highlight the requirement, in certain cases involving first registration, of a plan identifying the relevant property on the Ordnance Map and to make other minor administrative improvements.
