Article 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

This Order may be cited as the Landmines Act 1998 (Jersey) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 2nd January 2002.

(2)

In this Order—

  • “the Act” means the Landmines Act 1998,

  • “Jersey” means the Bailiwick of Jersey, and

  • “section” means a section of the Act and “subsection” shall be construed accordingly.
