Regulation 43 Translation of declaration of conformityF1

Before placing a lift on the market or making a safety component for lifts available on the market, an economic operator must ensure that the EU declaration of conformity is prepared in, or translated into, the language required by the F2relevant state in which the lift is to be placed on the market or the safety component for lifts is to be made available on the market.

Where the lift is to be placed on the market or the safety component for lifts is to be made available on the market in F3Northern Ireland, the language required is English.
