Regulation 48 Conformity assessment procedures for safety components for liftsE1

For the assessment of conformity of a safety component for lifts, the manufacturer must carry out one of the following procedures—

(a)

the model of the safety component for lifts must be submitted for F1Type examination set out in Part A of F2Schedule 11 and the conformity to type must be ensured with random checking of the safety component for lifts set out in F3Schedule 16;

(b)

the model of the safety component for lifts must be submitted for Type examination set out in Part A of F4Schedule 11 and be subject to conformity to type based on product quality assurance in accordance with F5 Schedule 13;

(c)

conformity based on full quality assurance set out in F6Schedule 14.
