LOCAL GOVERNMENT, SCOTLAND

Coming into force 1st April 1988

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 45, 49A, 50 and 235 of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973 f1, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:

1973 c. 65; section 45 was amended by section 60 of the Local Government and Planning (Scotland) Act 1982 (c. 43); section 49A was inserted and section 50 amended by section 26 of the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980 (c. 65); section 235 contains a definition of “prescribed” relevant to the exercise of the statutory powers under which these Regulations are made.
