LOCAL GOVERNMENT, ENGLAND

The Secretary of State, makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 99(4) of the Local Government Act 2003f1.

In accordance with section 99(4) of that Act she has received a report from the Audit Commissionf2 produced under section 99(1) of that Act.

For the definition of “Audit Commission”, see section 99(7) of the Local Government Act 2003. The report of the Audit Commission consists of a letter from the Chief Executive of the Audit Commission to the Minister for Local Government and Community Cohesion dated 31st August 2006 with an attached list of local authorities categorised by the Audit Commission as at that date.
