Section 6 is amended as follows.

In subsection (2)(a), for “sections 14(8) and 17(7) of the Local Government Act 1992” substitute “ section 56(8) of the Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Act 2009 ”.

In subsection (3)(b), at the end insert “ or Part 3 of the Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Act 2009 ”.
