Paragraph 60T Re-countF1
The returning officer, on completion of each stage of the count, must inform all the candidates and their election agents then present of the intention, subject to a request for a re-count, to proceed to the next stage.
Before the returning officer proceeds, any candidate or election agent present at the count may request that a re-count be undertaken of the last completed stage.
The returning officer must comply with the request unless the returning officer’s opinion is that the request is unreasonable.
If no request is made the returning officer must proceed with the next stage of the count.
Where, as a result of a re-count an error is discovered, the returning officer must, where necessary, amend any results that have been previously announced.
